Brooklyn Neighborhood Tee

Price range: $25.00 through $32.00

Brooklyn was a Black neighborhood and community in Charlotte that thrived as a self-sustainable town within a town. With Black-owned shops, schools, businesses, and places of worship, this vibrant neighborhood was home to families from all socioeconomic backgrounds. However, almost all traces of Brooklyn were destroyed in the 1960s thanks to “urban renewal”, which displaced thousands of residents and ultimately demolished more than 1480 structures. 50% of all sales of these shirts will be donated to The Brooklyn Collective.
